The DSB Quality Process
The DSB quality process begins by partnering with our customers to understand and acknowledge their needs and requirements.
Our team then applies an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process to implement a phased approach in ensuring optimal product quality throughout the customer's entire lifecycle with DSB Technologies.
Our Metallurgical Lab contains equipment for both R&D and product and process validation. Capability highlights include: carbon analysis, compressibility & green strength verification, density and interconnected porosity, sieve analysis, micro-hardness testing, metallography sample preparation, tension and compression break testing, tensile testing, and microscope and image analysis software.
Using the latest in database technology, our process controls and control plans are tied directly to our ERP system, providing for direct entry of inspection and test data into part databases for real time capability analysis of processes. Our Program Management and APQP activities are also integrated into the ERP system, providing a roadmap, all appropriate checklists and gate reviews for successful new program launches.
We have invested heavily in the tools of Lean Six Sigma to solve problems, resolve customer issues, and improve our processes. Lean Six Sigma is engrained in our Quality Culture and has been critical in helping us drive the continual improvement of our key business objectives.
